A name with meaning

We believe in a personalised medical approach with holistic and integrative foundations, which allows us to see every living being as unique, respecting their essence and nature. We offer a wide and complete range of diagnostic and therapeutic methods, bringing together knowledge from many medical traditions, from the most ancient to the most modern. This allows us to make choices that are better suited and more respectful for each patient.

Holi

from the Greek holos: “whole”, “entire”

We look at the patient as a whole: body, emotions and the environment they live in.

Pet

our best friends

Every companion is unique, and their care plan is made to measure.

Family

the people and the home around them

Family matters to us! It is one of the most important pillars of each patient’s health: the guardians and carers, the environment and the relationships between species. To ensure the best health and well-being for your best friends, we work as a team, where medical support meets the guardian’s love and informed care.

The three pillars of health

We now know that looking at the body as a set of separate systems is a limited approach. Simply treating and suppressing symptoms does not bring long-term healing, let alone a long life with quality and well-being. We believe that working on the three pillars of health, in a respectful, individual and personalised way, is the key to a long and happy life.

  1. Physical

We look deeply into the body’s imbalances, with a thorough diagnosis and treatment tailored to each case.

  2. Environment

Home, routine, diet and the outside world all play a direct role in your companion’s health.

  3. Emotional

Emotions and the bond with the family matter as much as the body, and we work on them with the same care.

From the very first consultation, each patient is assessed as a unique individual, and guardians receive full information on:

  • Healthy nutrition
  • An individual prevention plan
  • Treatment tailored to the clinical case
  • Recommendations on lifestyle, environment, family integration and emotional balance

Medicines that complement each other

For each patient, we choose the approaches that best suit their case.

  • Integrative and Holistic Medicine

Brings together conventional veterinary medicine and complementary approaches, looking at the patient as a whole: body, emotions and the environment they live in.

  • Functional Nutrition and Diet Therapy

Diet plans tailored to each patient, to keep them healthy or to support the treatment of an illness.

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine

Acupuncture, herbal medicine and other techniques of Chinese medicine, which aim to restore the body’s balance.

  • Veterinary Ozone Therapy

Therapeutic use of medical ozone as a complement to treatment in a range of clinical cases, always under veterinary guidance.

  • Colour Therapy

A complementary therapy that uses light and colour to promote relaxation and well-being.

  • Aromatherapy and Flower Therapy

Essential oils and flower essences, carefully chosen and safe for each species, to support emotional balance.

  • Homeopathy

Homeopathic remedies chosen individually, taking into account each patient’s symptoms and temperament.

  • Fluid and Nutrient Therapy

Fluids and nutrients given intravenously or subcutaneously, to hydrate and support the body through more demanding phases.

  • Quantum Medicine

Bioresonance assessment and therapies, which complement the patient’s diagnosis and follow-up.

  • Gold Bead Implants

Small gold beads placed at acupuncture points, used mainly to support cases of chronic joint pain.

  • Thermography

A thermal imaging exam, contact-free and painless, that helps locate areas of inflammation or circulation changes.

  • Personalised Care

Unhurried consultations, a plan designed for each patient and close follow-up for the whole family.

Family Unit Support

A complementary service, guided by Dr Raquel Ribeiro, that sees the patient as part of a larger system: their family and their environment.

Read moreShow less

Family Unit Support is a complementary service at our centre, guided by Dr Raquel Ribeiro in partnership with her project 1SÓ. It recognises each patient as part of a larger system: their family and their environment.

It is based on the understanding that health is expressed not only in the physical body, but also in the way each companion relates and responds to their emotional, family and environmental context. The aim is to support and guide the family, fostering greater awareness, balance and harmony in the bond between guardian and companion, and giving a voice to the companions who are part of the multispecies family.

This support for the family strengthens one of the essential pillars of health: the conscious balance of the family system.

It does not replace veterinary consultations or care: it complements the integrative, personalised clinical plan defined for each patient.

What families say

  • Ziggy

Ziggy became a healthy, balanced dog after being cared for by the doctor at the Holi.Pet Centre. Before, every time he went to a conventional vet, he came home with boxes of medicines that only made his health worse and didn’t solve the problem (just the symptoms). Whenever something more urgent comes up, I always get an answer from Dr Isabela. She is an exceptional human being and professional. I recommend her without hesitation!

    Ziggy
  • Lara

We received (…) from Dr Isabela all the support we needed to change her quality of life. A balanced diet, and treatments carried out with responsibility and love. Lara is completely different. She had joint pain and gut imbalances; today everything is balanced. I have changed too: I learned to notice any change in behaviour or discomfort. Today she is a happy, healthy animal, and that is priceless! Seeing them happy makes us happy too.

    Lara
  • Aladino e Ganoush

With Holi.Pet I learned healing through love, the symbiosis between an animal and their human. Connecting with the animal’s emotions through the emotions of their guardians. The animals who come into our lives have a mission with us, and it is up to us to understand their messages. By changing our own patterns, we can often clear our animal. Ganoush has left this physical plane, but his teachings were understood. And without a doubt, the first time I encountered that reality, and the endless possibilities of unconditional love between animals and their guardians, was at Holi.Pet.

  • Norah

We are very grateful for the way we were welcomed at the Centre and for how you have helped us with Norah. She has more vitality, she can chase the birds in the garden again, and she is less anxious and less possessive. You have given us essential tools to act quickly in situations of physical pain (her knee), emotional distress, digestive problems, false pregnancy and so much more. It has been a fantastic experience. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl.

    Norah
  • Circe

After looking into several veterinary alternatives, this was the only place able to meet our needs, with innovative activities that bring guardians closer to their four-legged friends.

  • Fred

A space thoughtfully designed in every detail, very welcoming for animals and guardians alike, and excellent care! My little dog is benefiting a lot and the treatments are working. Investing in natural care is really worth it, to give our companions a healthy, happy life! Grateful that Holi.Pet exists! 🙏🏻
