Who we are
The website www.holipet.pt belongs to the Holi.Pet & Family Veterinary Centre (Av. Maria Lamas 94B, 2775-123 Parede – Cascais, Portugal), the controller of the personal data described here. For any question about your data, please write to geral@holipet.pt.
What data we collect and why
Information requests. When you request information on the website, we receive your name, your email and, if you provide them, your phone number, your companion’s name and your message. We use this data only to send you the information about the first consultation and to reply to your request. The legal basis is your consent and the steps taken before a possible booking. The request is recorded in our internal communications system, like an email you had sent us.
Visit statistics. We count visits to the website anonymously: no cookies, no storing of IP addresses and no identification of visitors. They only help us understand which sections and buttons are used most.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Third-party content
- Video (YouTube): only loads when you press the play button, from YouTube’s cookie-free domain.
- Map (OpenStreetMap): the map images come from the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s servers, which receive your device’s IP address in order to send them. They do not use cookies.
- External links (WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Maps, online booking) lead to services with their own privacy policies.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile) check if who is asking for information is not a bot (uses IP Address and browser technical information).
How long we keep data
Information requests are kept for as long as needed to reply and follow up on your contact, and at most 2 years after the last contact, unless you become a client (in which case the rules for clinical records apply).
Who we share it with
We do not sell or give away your data. We only use service providers who help us operate (for example, hosting and email delivery), who are bound to protect it and use it only according to our instructions.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to its processing and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to geral@holipet.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt).
